Here are some of my past projects. I am currently not contributing to these in any capacity.

Habitat

Upscaling DAOs with Rollup Technology - 0xHabitat ↗ works to design and deploy governance and voting systems to Ethereum Layer-2 networks like Optimism.

v1 - Nutberry

Starting in 2020, the 0xHabitat team designed and deployed their own App-Specific Optimistic Roll-Up, based on the Nutberry tech-stack.

The main issue using this approach was a fragmentation of user funds, delayed execution times and users preference of agility over security. Stepping away from building infrastructure and now focusing on the application part.

v2 - Optimism

Since 2022, the 0xHabitat team transitioned to general purpose Optimistic Roll-Ups, in order to reach more users and enable easier contribution for developers. The scaling benefits of Roll-Ups extend the design space for applications to enable more features and still guarantee trustless execution.

Habitat is building with EIP-2535 "Diamond Standard". This Standard allows organisations to use already existing features (contracts/facets) and easily share new. Currently, new modules and features are built and maintained by the Habitat DAO and its contributors making them free to use for every community.

LeapDAO

A decentralized adaptive organization delivering scalability as a global public utility - LeapDAO ↗

Purpose

The centralization of the web into the hands of a few tech giants threatens the freedom and individuals and the survival of democracy. LeapDAO seeks to decentralize power in a sustainable way by enabling web citizens to own their data and communities to thrive and self-govern by providing them with scalable decentralized applications.

Team

The LeapDAO team is a distributed congregation of engineers, marketers and designers who organize themselves using sociocratic methods. The purpose of the organization guides the team in decision making, and the following core values are shared by all:

  • running code over assumptions
  • self-management over hierarchy
  • rough consensus over voting
  • purpose over market cap
  • community over structure
